Stone Estimate
for
Natural Thin Veneer or Manufactured Stone :

Two components, flats and corners, are used for most installations.

  • Flat stones are applied to the flat wall surface. They are ordered in square feet.
  • Corner stones are applied to outside corners. (Using corners around window and door openings enhances the finished design by adding dimension and depth.) They are ordered in lineal feet. (Note: Corner units also cover about 3/4 square feet per lineal foot.)

 To estimate quantity:

1. Determine the total square footage for your project. Multiply length by height of each surface to be covered. square feet
2. Deduct the area of all openings, such as doors and windows. square feet
3. Determine the lineal footage of corner stones needed. Measure the lineal feet of outside corner areas to be covered, including any doorways and windows that will have corners. lineal feet
